Gold from the Paris 2024 Olympics in the K1 1000 metres. Bronze from Tokyo, silver and bronze from Rio, and his first Olympic medal in London. In addition, seven world championship titles, the title of Czech Athlete of the Year 2024 and a place among the biggest names in Czech sport.

Josef Dostál has achieved a lot, but he still has his feet firmly on the ground. Away from racing, he enjoys playing the guitar, fishing and, from time to time, exploring the world of investments. Not to attract attention, but because he enjoys looking for depth and meaning in different things. As in sport, he believes in patience, preparation and a long-term outlook.

Josef is not the type to talk loudly about his success. He prefers to let the results speak for him. Whether on the water, by the water or in life.
